Travel | A Day Of Fun In Ibiza

Cala Llonga, Ibiza

One of the best days we had weather wise during my holiday to Ibiza. This particular day was awesome! We decided to spend it around the local area and take full advantage of the beach and what it had to offer, obviously talking about the Slide Boats of course!

The weather was so divine! Seeing as we mainly had rain and thunderstorms for the majority of our holiday. Especially our first offically day, eating breakfast with a view of the beach, where the waves were crashing so hard in to the nearby rocks, because of the force of the wind and the coming storm. If you follow me on Snapchat (@isobelceline), you would of seen a 2am snap of the tropical storm we had where the lightning was lighting up the whole night sky! It was so thrilling and exciting as I love thunderstorms! Standing in my pajamas by the balcony door with my Nikon D3200, tripod and remote, ready to catch the wonder of it all!

Moving onto how much fun we had on the beach, spenind 10 euros on one of these boats for 40 minutes, considering how it's normally 18 euros for an hour, the owner let us have a bargain! As we pedalled the boat out to the sea, we were actually quite scared of going too far, because of how deep it might be and you never know what creatures are out there either...sharks that is, as you never know! Snapchat obviously seen the best side of the fun we had on these boats! The thrill of the boat tipping back as you go to sit at the top, then sliding down into the sea is just so much fun! We wanted to go on again another day, but the weather wasn't the best, plus it wasn't as warm as when we first went out, we caught a tan just from having loads of fun in the sea! Shows you don't have to lie on a sunbed all day to get a tan! I tanned better in the sea than on the sunbed!

We also spent a fair few hours sunbathing by the pool, which was lovely! As it was my first time experience the actual sun! If you live in England you will totally understand that! So I got a fairly nice tan, but it was very natural, so you couldn't notice it that much, but we didn't have that much sun throughout the holiday anyway. Either way, I was happy enough being able to actually get a bit of a tan! This kaftan came in handy when I wanted to cover up though as the sun went in!
