Bandana Crop Top - DIY | Jeans - Primark | Courts - Primark | Fringed Bag - Boutique In Coventry | Watch - Gift

How cute is this lilac bandana crop top?! I found one like this on depop and decided to make my own. I thought I'd explain to you how I made this top so you can make one too if you like. As my waist is quiet small, I didn't need to add ribbon to the bottom half of the bandana, but you can add ribbon if you like.

First off, you need to buy a bandana - Primark, Blue Banana or even a market stall sell them. Any type will do. I even spotted a marvel bandana in the mens section of Primark and was thinking of buying it to make into another crop top.

Anyway, going back onto the subject of how to make this piece. Fold the bandana in half so that it is shaped like a triangle. The top points need to folded over (about 2 inches long) so that you can sew the ribbon underneath it.

Next get some ribbon that will fit around your neck to make the top into a halter neck - best to measure this part but I didn't...oops...but it worked out either way. Sew the ribbon underneath the part you have folded over. Try your piece on and tie the ribbon around your neck and around your waist, and there you go! Simple. One quick way of making a unique crop top that no one else will have because YOU made it. that's the best thing about DIY pieces. No one else will have the same piece as you.

As for my overall outfit, THESE SHOES THOUGH...OMG! As soon as I seen them on the shelf in Primark, they just screamed my style. Monochrome. Absolutely love it. Especially the heel on these babies, the gold detailing. I love how they have the striped/splattered effect all over them. Matching these beauties with a simple pair of white high waisted jeans and this gorgeous fringed bag. I seen hat Primark had a few different types of fringed bags in stock but I thought seeing as it's Primark and it's cheap fashion, everyone is going to have those bags so I waited until I found a unique one which was in a little shop in Coventry City Centre I wondered into while on a shopping trip. It was only £10?! Bargain once again! As for my watch, this was a little gift from my Mum a few years ago so I actually don't know where this is from...sorry guys!
