Travel | Chocolate Heaven At Cadbury World Ft. Trendz

Cadbury World

Did you ever get the chance to visit Cadbury World when you were younger or whilst you were at school? I didn't. So, considering how this year has been a major adventure and whirlwind of visiting so many different places, one of my friends suggested we went to Cadbury World for the day, so this post will mainly consist of my experience of the place and how it went.

Cadbury World

Firstly, our train ride there was quite unnerving due to us not knowing if we were on the right train or not to Bournville. As we jumped on taking a few selfies with my awesome new Bluetooth Selfie Stick from Trendz! We couldn't sit still thinking we were on the wrong train, so we all jumped off and asked someone to find there was no need to panic as it was the right train. Other than that, we were off after the short train journey, we had a 15 minute walk to Cadbury World whilst taking a fair few snaps in front of the Cadbury sign and walking through the factory's, whilst getting a smell of the divine chocolate, as soon as we smelt it we all got hyped and excited, so we raced off to the entrance to find our booking wasn't until 12:30 and it was only 11:00am...So for the hour and a half we had to kill, we walked round the back to the playground and 4D cinema. We actually found this area pretty fun! I love 4D cinemas, like the ones at theme parks and the sealife centre. The affects they add in are pretty cool!

After the 4D cinema experience, we sat down at a bench and decided to have a chocolate ice cream to kick off the start of chocolate eating heaven for the day. Once they were devoured, of course I persuaded everyone to go on the kids playground. how could I not when 1. we had time to kill, and 2. there was a MASSIVE climbing frame with two slides! How could we not?! It was a form of exercise so that was a good excuse! Either way, it was fun and there's nothing wrong with being a big kid sometimes! There was also a couple of mascots there, so I obviously whacked out my bluetooth selfie stick and got a few funny group selfies!

Cadbury World

Once our slot time came, we waited in the massive queue for a good 15 minutes, before we had our tickets scanned and a load of chocolate handed to us. All of my friends had been to Cadbury World when they were younger, but it was all new for me.

Cadbury World

We walked through the doors into a historic walkway of how Cadbury and the cocoa bean was created, but I'm not being disrespectful but, I really wasn't interested and wanted to get straight to the fun part - chocolate obviously!

Cadbury World

We got to a part where there was drum chairs, mirrored walls and a bright screen, so obviously we had to stop and take a few pictures, even if the lighting was terrible hahaa!

You should of seen my excitement when I first saw the gorilla that played the drums to 'In The Air Tonight' by Phil Collins. One of my all time favourite songs, I just love it so much because of the beat. Oh, the gorilla was a robot by the way guys, so slightly disappointing really...hahaa.

Cadbury World

Moving onto the ride, which was extremely slow but rather funny if you caught it on Snapchat (@isobelceline) due to me being in one car with my boyfriend and my three friends behind making a few jokes at different things.

Cadbury World

After the ride, we walked down to see our photos which weren't too good and pricey so we didn't buy one and who needs that when you have a bluetooth selfie stick to take pictures for you?! We walked through into a small version of the factory and were given the choice of two toppings in a pot of melted Cadbury's chocolate. I chose popping candy and little smarties, but I really couldn't eat it all so my other friend didn't waste it hahaa.

Cadbury World

After all this it was the end of our chocolate adventure, but not completely, as we were off to the shop to buy more chocolate! Obviously I had to get a giant 850g bar of Cadbury Dairy Milk chocolate, at only £5 a bar! As well as my favourite Fudge bars - 10 £1.50!

Cadbury World

To conclude the day, it was an awesome day and we made some hilarious memories I will certainly never forget!

Cadbury World

As for the selfie stick from Trendz, it's perfect for me and my gadgets, as it's bluetooth which makes it so much better rather than plugging it in, it can be charged, turned on and off, it's extendable and folds up all nice and neat, plus it's pink and glittery! What more could you want? I'd definitely recommend this selfie stick over the wired cheap ones anyday!

Have you been to Cadbury World before? What's your favourite chocolate?

  4. OMG! I must admit, I'm not the biggest fan of chocolate but this post makes me want to dive into a tub of it! I knew a lady that worked in Cadburys Ireland and she was on tap for an unlimited supply of Moro/ Boost bars which I LOVE!
I'm so glad you enjoyed yourself, I've never been to Cadbury World but I wouldn't be opposed to it now.
