Fashion | How To Style A Striped Dress

Isobel Celine

Versatile pieces are all I've been wearing lately, especially monochrome and pastel colours. I've been wearing these shades of colours so often recently. I'm trying to get my wear out of my summer clothes as much as possible seeing as the sun has been out more often in the UK lately. What about that 32 degree heat?! We were hotter than Miami that day!

During those ridiculously hot temperatures, I found that lightweight dresses were something I mainly went towards, as I don't like to wear clothes that cling to my body during the heat, and this little monochrome number is made of a lightweight and cool material that was perfect for this gorgeous but more hot than I can handle weather.

It's also perfect for a festival with the pom pom details on the hem of the shoulder area. It's the type of material that floats beautiful when you get that nice cool breeze that you need during the unbearable heat. If your a long term reader of my blog, you will know I'm a suckerr for monochrome, so when I seen this dress on Sammy Dress, it went straight in my basket as it has everything my style loves; bohemian vibes and monochrome. Something else I've been loving lately is this gorgeous pastel pink biker jacket from Zara, which I picked up whilst I was in London for the weekend for £40, and when I'm in London, I spoil myself that extra bit. Myself and one of my best friends went to Sloane Square and went into my favourite Liz Earle shop and basically spent a fortune, but it's so worth it as their products are brilliant on my skin!

As for accessories, I went for my trusty Chloe dupe bag which was a bargain off eBay a few weeks back for around £10! I found the link through one of my favourite bloggers - The Pixie Cut. She just finds the best pieces sometimes! I use this bag so much, as you may know, not so long ago I had an obsession for grey which I still do, but now more so with pastel colours. Considering how this handbag is from China, I was shocked at how good the quality of it was.

I've always loved classy watches with these sort of bracelets, and this combo was perfect for this outfit, especially as I was going for a slight sailor look with a tad bit of pink thrown into my outfit so that it's more for spring/summer. How nice is this wrap bracelet though?! I've always love the stack ones you see on Instagram. I've always thought of how classy and stylish they look on your arm. This Blue Rope Bracelet is from Wesson & Co. They sell a fair few different designs and colours on their site. I particularly love this one as it's monochrome, obviously! They sell different types of bracelets like, charm, shambella, macrame and leather bracelets, as well as cuff and rop bracelets. You could also style the bracelets with so many different outfits, whether this being casual or for a night out/event. I like how classy the designs are of the bracelets. They come in the cutest little gift box, so they are the perfect gift for someone.

As for my shoes, these are the most versatile shoes I could ask for, as well as the comfiest! I've worn them so often and they don't even rub my feet! Every time I buy a pair of shoes from Hidden Fashion, I can never complain. They are so cheap, yet every pair of shoes I have ever bought from there are the most comfortable shoes I've bought! For only £6.99 last year, hell yeaa! What about these rose gold sunnies though?! Only £1.50 from Primark! My new favourites of the season! Primark can have some brilliant pieces instore sometimes, for the best prices!
