How beautiful is this little place!? It's the most lovely location you could find down in Cornwall. This little place is called Calstock. A peaceful village located in Cornwall with a (I believe) war time built bridge with 2 lovely old styled country pubs upon the riverside. As you can clearly see in the background of some pictures there was a very small bridge that lead out to the side of the river where small boats were left floating alongside it (tied up of course). There were very unusual type of birds that were spread around the area and no one I met knew what they were called. There is a picture below if you'd like to have a go at identifying these unusual birds.

I spent the afternoon with my lovely family members who kindly took some of these pictures for me to share with you (my fabulous viewers). If you are ever in the UK and get a chance to travel into Cornwall, even though Calstock is a very small place it is full of hidden treasures (as in beautiful scenery not actual treasure of course). If I could, I would love to live in such a place as Cornwall. Waking up to beautiful scenery, speaking to the locals everyday, even if you plan to have children, this is the perfect place to bring them up.

Onto the fashion side of this post, I felt the need to wear this beauty of a spring/summer dress. I was planning on wearing it with my tanned wedges instead of these gladiator sandals but because of the not so flat ground (it's quite a hilly area) I thought it was better to wear these than to risk breaking an ankle or even my neck. Health and safety before fashion I'm afraid for me - as long as the outfit still looks good that is! This dress was a lovely buy from my Dad last year. I still love the shape that this dress holds and even the neck line is such a nice shape - even though my hair is hiding it. Even the dress itself is very figure hugging - which if you've read my blog from the start you may have read me mentioning how much I prefer fitted clothing. Obviously as it was spring as well, how could this dress not be perfect for the occasion.

Like I said, if your ever near Cornwall you must visit this hidden treasure. you won't regret it - unless your not a country side kind of person.

Thank you so much for reading and I shall see you in my next post! There are some more photos below from my trip if you'd like to see!
