Lifestyle | What Happened In September

September was certainly filled with many nights out...Seeing Cascada again as well as Basshunter was so good! I'll explain the month as I go on.

September started off with my having a fair few days at home doing things around the house, selling loads of bits and pieces from my Depop and on Facebook Marketplace - definitely doing well with selling things lately but I don't want to jinx it! I've also been doing a lot of things to make the house more homely and doing a hell of a lot of Christmas shopping! I know it's well early, but I always start this time of year because by the time December has come I'm finished and don't have to worry about being skint around Christmas time then! Good thinking right!

At the very start of the month, myself, Reiss, Sophie and Sam went to Shackerstone Family Festival for the day. It was filled with all kinds of different stalls, acts, entertainment and charity events. It was pretty good the day over all, but it's better to watch my vlog here to see what it's all about.

I also went out for the day with my Dad for his Ferrari Experience that I got him for Father's Day which he absolutely loved and I'd never seen him so excited for! It was such a brilliant experience and Dad even treated us to a ride in a Vauxhall (can't remember the full name) and the driver whizzed us SO fast round the track! Watch the vlog from the day here!

Moving on to all the eventful nights out that happened! It was one of my best friend's 21st Birthday and we headed out to go and see Cascada as well as a full day of being on our feet shopping and eating out. It was a good night and we ended it with Dominos at 3:30 in the morning hahaa! Our next night out began with a meal out at Las Iguanas and then out to drink and dance the night away as per usual! The final night out was to see Basshunter which was one of the best nights! Basshunter made the club turn into a rave it was that good! Love a bit of old school music from when I was a kid!

Overall, it was a pretty good month looking back! How was your September?

Fashion | The Autumnal Outfit I Have On Repeat

Autumn Fashion

Autumn is officially HERE! My all time favourite season is back, and I'm sure I'm not the only one that's glad about that! Autumn brings out so many gorgeous styles and trends, which I absolutely love! Especially all the beautiful colours like, mustard, burgundy, black, creams etc. Chunky knits are a firm favourite of mine and I'm currently on the hunt for that perfect thick knit red jumper! Let me know if you've found any, as I'm finding it hard to find that perfect one right now! Right, onto the outfit!

How super cosy and trendy does this denim jacket look?! I've been dying to get one like this for the last few years but didn't find the right one I wanted, with regards to the lining, the style, the oversizing, the shade of colour, material etc. I was being really fussy about getting a coat like this one. I've always had my eye on the ones like this in Topshop but never really liked how fitted they were. So, when I spotted this ABSOLUTE BARGAIN for £20, I had to try it on! I face timed my boyfriend and was like what do you think? As I have a lot of winter coats, but none like this one. He said it looked really nice and suited me, so did my best friend and I was already sold once I saw it on the rail, but I love to know what my friends think before I buy stuff. I bought it in a Size 4 and it's still very over sized but I love it! I can wear really thick jumpers and layer things up underneath it because of how over sized and snug it is! Definitely pick one of these up if your in Primark! They do this jacket in Burgundy and pink too! £20? Pretty sure it won't break the bank!

Black bottoms. Whether that be leather look jeans, leather trousers, or black jeans, I am living in them right now during these colder casual days! Especially this gorgeous pair from Wearall! I love the gold detailing as it adds a little something to your outfit! They go with SO much of my AW17 wardrobe and I'm loving them lately! They are SO fitted! And if you've read my blog for quite some time, you will understand just how much I love something that is nice and fitted! I ordered these in a Size 8, even though the label says Size 10, they fit SO nicely! Definitely an investment for your AW17 wardrobe!

Do you think I'm obsessed with this Valentino Dupe Bag yet? I've mentioned and shown it in a fair few blog posts and videos ever since I bought it! Has to have been one of my best bag purchases yet! I adore it and wish I could get my hands on a real one as I clearly would get my use out of it!

Jacket - Primark | T-Shirt - Primark | *Leather Look Jeans - Wearall | Trainers - Adidas | Belt - Primark | Bag - Moda Bags

Overall, this is the outfit I have literally been wearing on repeat over the last month! I just love it as it's so easy to wear, comfortable, you can add any accessory like a red bandanna and red trainers or boots etc. It's just my favourite outfit lately!

What are you currently loving wearing for autumn?

Travel | Best Places To Visit In Brighton

Brighton

Not long ago, myself and my friend Chelsey went for a day trip to Brighton, we were given some recommendations and found some other plans we wanted to go to. These may not be the best places to visit in Brighton, but they've definitely worth the visit.

Brighton

Brighton Pier

I never realised how big this pier was until I saw it in person! Firstly, I didn't know that there used to be an old one that is now in ruins that was closed in 1975! But anyways, the pier was filled with souvenir shops, fish and chip shops, donuts, sweet treats and a fair ground! It was a great attraction to see! But I was a bit scared of falling through the planks of wood. Either way, you have to have a nosy along it if you get the chance.

Brighton

Sealife Centre Brighton

This place was huge inside! You could go in a glass bottom boat and sail across a massive tank filled with sharks, turtle's, sting rays and all types of fish! Which there was also a tunnel you could walk through and see all the creatures in too. You should of seen how one of the halls was like - a rainbow! Definitely check this place out! It's right on the seafront in Brighton opposite the pier.

Brighton

Boho Gelato

I read and was told about this little ice cream shop! And I'm so glad I went! I had to mint chocolate chip flavoured ice cream and it was so good and it was so so good and tasty - craving one now while I'm writing this! They have loads of different flavours! Seriously guys, you have to check it out!

Brighton Royal Pavilion
Brighton Royal Pavilion

Royal Pavilion

This place is one hell of an amazingly designed and well kept building! It's surrounded by beautiful gardens and scenery. Unfortunately, your not allowed to stand on the building as the alarms go off, and guess who set them off just for an insta pic? Me. Of course hahaa! This building is definitely worth the visit just for pictures!

Brighton

Choccy Woccy Doo Dah

We wandered into this place so we could have a nice slice of their famous cake, but we didn't want to eat in there in the end as it was way too hot for it. Next time though I would definitely grab something to eat in there as I've been recommended it so many times now! It's even worth going in there to see what they can make out of chocolate!

Brighton

Whilst I was there, we had chips on the beach from Big Fish Trading Co. It came in a cute box which made it so much easier to carry and eat out of! Definitely take some chill time on the beach too!

Where would you recommend to visit in Brighton? Have you been to Brighton before?

Advice | Getting My Positivity Back

Life gets tough at times, I sure we all know that, but it always turns out okay in the end.

I've been through a few rough patches in the last couple of months and really struggled with staying positive and trying not to be an emotional wreck every second of the day. Let's say moving house is hard, the same goes for life changes and new transitions, they can effect people in different ways. In my experience so far with my life changes, I've gone backwards with my anxiety, worry more, more sensitive and more emotional. The last couple of months have been an emotional roller coaster for me. But, I'm finally picking myself back up again and getting used to my new surroundings. I'm being more independent then I've ever been so far in my life, spending my time more wisely and not taking time for granted anymore, as I used to just hardly see or make time for my family, friends or boyfriend that much. I'm prioritising my time with blogging, YouTube and being on my social media platforms, for when I'm not with the people I love.

I want to see what life has to offer, through my own eyes, not through a filtered Instagram picture. I want to enjoy life for the way that I want to. Not listen to what other people want or say I should do. If I want to travel, I will. If I want a tattoo, I'll get one. If I want to wear a pretty dress on a country walk, I will. I'm not letting someones opinions and thoughts stop me anymore! Positive attitudes will always win! We always have bad days, but we always pick ourselves back up again. Positive minds, positive attitude!

This also goes for social media - yes I'm mainly talking about Instagram here. The algorithm is doing my absolute head in, so I've decided to just post when and what I want and not stick to a theme or anything. It's my place in the Internet to post what I want, so I shall do just that. No matter about the silly algorithm that really needs to be scrapped all together!

Stay positive beautiful people, you can do it!

Girl Talk | Fab Little Bag

Fab Little Bag

Let's talk about that time of the month us girls always hate. I don't normally talk about this subject on here, but why not? It's completely normal and everybody knows about it!

Fab Little Bag
Fab Little Bag

Pads. Tampons. Pantyliner's. Whatever you buy for yourself during your period always matters, as well as how you dispose of it. I always  head towards pads when it comes to my period, as let's be honest, shoving a cotton tube with a string hanging out never sounds pleasant, nor feels it! Nor does buying sanitary towels and tampons for your time of the month. Okay, now I know a lot of girls get embarrassed buying this type of stuff, but ask yourself, why should I? Everyone knows about them and it's not like it isn't normal. Even I don't get awkward about talking about periods or buying pads. I even that okay with taking pads to a checkout with a lad on the till! I couldn't give a shit hahaa! It's not like it's a secret, every girl goes through periods. Why should we be ashamed or embarrassed about buying something that will help with the bleeding once a month?

Fab Little Bag
Fab Little Bag
Fab Little Bag

Anyway, moving on to disposing of your used period pads or tampons etc. Even though I don't use tampons myself (NO THANKS!), these nifty *Fab Little Bag's are perfect for when you have no way of disposing your used business and have no sanitary bin or any bin nearby. These are a great way of discreetly getting rid of your pads or tampons! You can even pop them open with one hand and also seal! You'd never guess a pad or tampon was in one of these honestly! I just roll up the pad, pop it in, seal it then throw it in the bin! Sorted!

Fab Little Bag
Fab Little Bag

It's also better to use these bags at home, so when who ever cleans the bathroom bin out, doesn't have to suffer the horror of seeing used sanitary towels or tampons. Bonus, hahaa! You can get refill packs you can keep to store in your handbag or where ever you need to! The packaging is super cute and they are rather stylish for a sanitary towel/tampon disposer bag! I was quite impressed by these if I do say so myself! Definitely one to try out if you get embarrassed with putting used pads/tampons in your bin at home or in public.

Also a little bonus to these bags, is the fact that they are oxo-biodegradable (doesn't decompose as quickly as biodegradable bags but it's a start!) and made from 35% organic material! Definitely partially Eco friendly!

Fab Little Bag

So what are your thoughts on this handy idea? I keep a few in my bag for when it's my time of the month, as you never know when you might need one, or a friend might! Check out the Fab Little Bag website here to see what else they do!

Travel | Best Places To Visit & Do In Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Paris

There's honestly SO much you can do at Disneyland Paris! We only had a day there and it wasn't enough. I could of spent a fortune there if I could!

Disneyland Paris

Starting off with the rides.

Hyperspace Mountain

As I said in my Disneyland Paris Vlog here, one of the best rides I've ever been on! It's super fast, goes vertically in some parts and is so long and well designed! Definitely put this at the top of your list if you go in the park!

Crush's Coaster

We waited a whole hour to get on this ride...AN HOUR! But it was SO worth it, as it was so fun! With all the twists and turns, as well as the speed of it! Not something you would of expected either, definitely go on it!

Buzz Lightyear Lazer Blast

This was so fun! Your in a cart going through the ride shooting different neon targets to see how high a score you can get. It was even more fun with the fact you could turn your cart around too with the controls!

Disneyland Paris
Disneyland Paris

Disney Castle

One of THE best places for that perfect insta pic for the gram! We got there early as we had 2 extra hours in the park with our passes so there wasn't as many people around when we were getting our shots.

The Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlour

If you want a vintage, classy, marble interior ice cream parlour, this is one of the best places I found! Not only for the Ben & Jerry's ice cream, but for a really cute insta snap of the cute pots and marble tables and cute interior.

Disneyland Paris
Disneyland Paris

Disney Parade

You cannot miss this! One of the most amazing things there! It started at 5:30pm (French time) and you have to see it! The designs to the floats were so well designed and built! You can see them in their full glory in my Disneyland Paris Vlog!

Disney Illuminations

DO NOT MISS THIS!! This had to be the highlight of the whole time we were there! It's full of flashing lights, fireworks, singing, projections from different Disney films, music, water flying everywhere. It's just insane! You have to just see it in person to believe it, it's just so magical!

Disneyland Paris

You can see my Disneyland Paris Vlog here to see how amazing it was for yourself! Let me know if you've ever been and what you would recommend for when we go back there again!

Lifestyle | What I'm Currently Obsessed With

I go through these stages of being obsessed with different things so I thought I'd share them with you all...

M & S Percy Pig Sweets

I used to love getting there little piggy sweets from my Grandma when I was a kid. I love to eat them bit by bit so that they last longer, you know, the same as how you nibble all the chocolate off a kit kat bar then the wafer? The reason why I'm obsessed with them is they were a childhood favourite. A new mini M&S shop has opened up near where I work, so it's an excuse to get them so I have change for the bus home hahaa!

Henna

I'm obsessed with doing different designs on myself all over my body with henna/mehendi. I've got a whole board on pinterest full of different designs I like and have drawn on myself. I can't just do one tattoo, I end up covering myself with it! Especially big ones on my thighs!

Moana

There's just something about this film I adore and feel so inspired by. I honestly now know every lyric to every song in the film - no shame! I just love how different her character is compared to the usual Disney princess they normally add into Disney films. I honestly and just obsessed with this film lately!

Booking holidays

I'm wanting to continuously book holidays lately. Especially to Tenerife for next year. Hopefully we'll be going as me and Reiss are dying to go to Siam Park! I also want to book a trip to Germany as I miss it so much! Also dying to see Yella! So Germany and Tenerife are (hopefully) the plans for 2018. Scotland is the last trip as far as I'm aware for this year!

Keeping things tidy

I've always been OCD, but lately I've just been keeping things so clean and tidy! There's hardly any mess anywhere, especially when I have a day at home!

Saving money

I like to treat myself every now and again, but I'm obsessed with finding ways to save money lately, as each year I set a higher goal of how much money I want to save, and it's looking good so far! More money for travelling!

Berries

Seeing as the autumn season is on it's way, the blackberries are starting to ripen - as well as die out now, which is strange for this time of year! Anyway, so I've been getting boxes of them lately and putting them in fruit salads, making elderberry and blackberry cordial, as well as (MY FAVE) apple and blackberry crumble - my fave! I've also been all over Pinterest looking for different recipes like blackberry jam, muffins, pies and crumble bars! I just want to get my baking mojo back on, as I used to cook and bake a lot as a kid. New obsession right here!

What have you been loving or been obsessed with lately?

Fashion | Bringing Out The Aristocrat In Me

Classy Style
Classy Style

I bet your thinking an odd title right? But if you have aristocratic blood in your family tree, then you will completely understand that statement. I love dressing up in this sort of fancy lady-like way, it's always been part of me. So let's go into detail about the outfit...

Classy Style
Classy Style

How gorgeous is this classy outfit though? I honestly adore these shoes and first took them out for a test run on my birthday. You can see my first impressions and reaction in my 20th Birthday Vlog here. They are such a classic shoe for wearing with not only dresses, they look so chic with jeans also, for that dressed up casual look. They're really high with a 5" heel, but I love the pointed toe and cut out/scallop detail on the ankle. The one problem with the design is, it rubs on my ankle unfortunately and I'm still yet ti break these beauties in yet, but other than that, I love them! I also mentioned them in a recent haul in this video here. Check out FSJ Shoes by the way, as I thought they had some really pretty shoes on there and I also love their packaging too which you can see in my 20th Birthday Vlog as well!

Classy Style

As for this dress, when I saw it on the Fashion Mia website, it looked as if it had a better structure with the material, but when it arrived it was quite a poor quality material, and I feel that the style itself was a bit too long for me, being petite in size and height at 5ft3"! But the dress is rather nice on despite all this, it fits nicely around the shoulders, chest and waist, but considering it was a small and the measurements online met my needs, it still seemed to be too big on me, but not to the point where it would hang off me or doesn't fit properly. But regardless of that, I've had so many nice compliments on it! So I've been warming to it lately. I love black lace dresses, but all my other ones I own are better quality. I just wish the sizing was better as well as the material and overall fit of the dress. You know I'm open and honest about everything I review. I'd recommend this dress if you fit into size 8, but not if you are a size 6, as the waist would fit a size 8 better.
Classy Style

As for this beautiful choker, also from Fashion Mia, I absolutely LOVE it! I've worn it so often ever since it arrived! With a casual outfit for that extra glam look, a swimsuit to look even more extra with that tan at a pool party, or even a cute jumpsuit. I've honestly loved wearing it. It's one of the best quality chokers I own to date! I love the thickness, the design, it's not heavy on your neck. It's just the perfect one for me and my style. Even the size of it is perfect, as I really struggle when it comes to chokers, as they always come up too big on my neck, but this one is just the perfect size! Unfortunately though, I was wearing it one day when I started sneezing, and I sneezed so hard that I snapped it! I laughed so much about the fact that I sneezed so hard I broke it but then I was so disappointed that I broke my favourite choker :( hopefully I'll buy a new one at some point, as I miss wearing it so much! Hope you like it and got some inspiration to get your glam on guys and girls!

Thanks for reading!

Lifestyle | What Happened In August

Disneyland Paris

August started off a bit emotionally, as you know, being a girl is hard when trying to stay strong and not go into an emotional breakdown, but anyway, let's stay positive here.

At the start of the month it was 2 of my best friends 21st birthday's, so they had a few nice gifts from me, including a photo album filled with pictures of different memories of us all. Cute right? To celebrate, we were going to head up to Skegness for the day, but our designated driver couldn't take us due to work hours. So instead we decided to go bowling and for a nice meal. We went to a really retro themed, old school bowling alley where I came third unfortunately, but it was good fun, especially in the arcade on (my favourite) the dance machine! We then had a nice meal over at the Beef Eater pub. You can watch that vlog here actually! Me and Stacie finally had a sleepover (big kids at 20/21 I know, but who cares?!) and had a fun day baking chocolate cupcakes and walking down the canal to feed the ducks.

I also spent some quality time with my Dad, learning about different things in the countryside. We went blackberry and elderberry picking and made it into cordial (squash), using a recipe off Pinterest here. I also did a fair bit of baking and cooking too. I made a homemade apple and blackberry crumble, which was AMAZING! (My fave pudding ever!) I also did a delicious honey and garlic chicken slow cooker meal which was SO good! you can find the recipe here. We also found a load of mushrooms by the canal side and learnt which ones you can eat and which ones are fungi, which of course you can't eat. I also didn't know that a fruit called sloane's were used to make gin either! you learn something new everyday!

I also went to Disneyland Paris with 3 of my best friends, which of course I vlogged! You can find that on my YouTube Channel when it's live!

The month was ended with a day trip to Brighton with my friend Chelsey, which of course, I vlogged again! Keep checking out my channel to see when that was published. August had a lot more involved, good and bad, but life goes on and I'm determined to carry on and live life the best I can.

Thank you for reading and that concludes what happened in August! What happened during your month?

Fashion | Jeulia Claddagh Ring

Jeulia Two Tone Claddagh Heart Cut Created White Sapphire Engagement Ring

Claddagh rings are one of my all time favourites, and they're the type of ring I'm always drawn to and look at the most. The fact that they remind me of little tiara rings too. Like that one tiara ring that most girls have these days. The tiara ring that most girls have these days. The tiara ring is the only thing I like out of Pandora's entire collection, they make some stunning pieces, but the tiara stands out the most to me. As like I've said before, I don't like to have things that everyone else has.

Jeulia Two Tone Claddagh Heart Cut Created White Sapphire Engagement Ring
Jeulia Two Tone Claddagh Heart Cut Created White Sapphire Engagement Ring

Anyway, let's move onto why I love this ring so much and why I always choose claddagh rings. I had a very long browse on the Jeulia Jewelry site and spotted a fair few beautiful rings and other jewellery pieces. If I had not chosen this ring, I would of gone for this beautiful ring here. Can you see the theme here with the crown/tiara type rings? I honestly don't know why, but I just love those the most!

Jeulia Two Tone Claddagh Heart Cut Created White Sapphire Engagement Ring

If you've been reading Fashionista Chic for quite some time, you will know that I'm half irish and have a lot of Irish family, so the claddagh ring is something that runs in the family. My Mum has always wore her gold claddagh ring on her middle finger. Okay, so let's educate you slightly if you don't know much about claddagh rings. If you wear the claddagh ring with the heart facing towards you, your taken, if facing away from you, it means your single.

The Claddagh ring is a traditional Irish ring given wich represents love, loyalty, and friendship. The hands represent friendship, the heart represents love, and the crown represents loyalty.

Now, I have 3 claddagh rings now I have this stunning silver and gold 3 ring beauty! I also own a gold plated ring and silver stone ring too. I just love them and they stand out so beautifully!

If your looking for a beautiful ring for a good price for maybe and engagment, gift, wedding etc. Jeulia Jewelry is definitely a site to consider. Plus the ring is packaged beautifully and safely in a ring box, along with a bigger Jeulia Jewelry box, that has 2 drawers that you could actually use to tore all your jewellery in too.

Jeulia Two Tone Claddagh Heart Cut Created White Sapphire Engagement Ring

Do you own a claddagh ring or ever heard/used this jewellery brand before?

P.S. It was pretty speedy delivery considering how the ring is hand crafted - shipped by DHL too. The box was very slightly damaged, but not to the point where it completely mattered as the ring was absolutely fine, as well as the ring box itself.

Thanks for reading!
