Travel | Best Places To Visit & Do In Disneyland Paris

Disneyland Paris

There's honestly SO much you can do at Disneyland Paris! We only had a day there and it wasn't enough. I could of spent a fortune there if I could!

Disneyland Paris

Starting off with the rides.

Hyperspace Mountain

As I said in my Disneyland Paris Vlog here, one of the best rides I've ever been on! It's super fast, goes vertically in some parts and is so long and well designed! Definitely put this at the top of your list if you go in the park!

Crush's Coaster

We waited a whole hour to get on this ride...AN HOUR! But it was SO worth it, as it was so fun! With all the twists and turns, as well as the speed of it! Not something you would of expected either, definitely go on it!

Buzz Lightyear Lazer Blast

This was so fun! Your in a cart going through the ride shooting different neon targets to see how high a score you can get. It was even more fun with the fact you could turn your cart around too with the controls!

Disneyland Paris
Disneyland Paris

Disney Castle

One of THE best places for that perfect insta pic for the gram! We got there early as we had 2 extra hours in the park with our passes so there wasn't as many people around when we were getting our shots.

The Gibson Girl Ice Cream Parlour

If you want a vintage, classy, marble interior ice cream parlour, this is one of the best places I found! Not only for the Ben & Jerry's ice cream, but for a really cute insta snap of the cute pots and marble tables and cute interior.

Disneyland Paris
Disneyland Paris

Disney Parade

You cannot miss this! One of the most amazing things there! It started at 5:30pm (French time) and you have to see it! The designs to the floats were so well designed and built! You can see them in their full glory in my Disneyland Paris Vlog!

Disney Illuminations

DO NOT MISS THIS!! This had to be the highlight of the whole time we were there! It's full of flashing lights, fireworks, singing, projections from different Disney films, music, water flying everywhere. It's just insane! You have to just see it in person to believe it, it's just so magical!

You can see my Disneyland Paris Vlog here to see how amazing it was for yourself! Let me know if you've ever been and what you would recommend for when we go back there again!

Lifestyle | What I'm Currently Obsessed With

I go through these stages of being obsessed with different things so I thought I'd share them with you all...

M & S Percy Pig Sweets

I used to love getting there little piggy sweets from my Grandma when I was a kid. I love to eat them bit by bit so that they last longer, you know, the same as how you nibble all the chocolate off a kit kat bar then the wafer? The reason why I'm obsessed with them is they were a childhood favourite. A new mini M&S shop has opened up near where I work, so it's an excuse to get them so I have change for the bus home hahaa!

Henna

I'm obsessed with doing different designs on myself all over my body with henna/mehendi. I've got a whole board on pinterest full of different designs I like and have drawn on myself. I can't just do one tattoo, I end up covering myself with it! Especially big ones on my thighs!

Moana

There's just something about this film I adore and feel so inspired by. I honestly now know every lyric to every song in the film - no shame! I just love how different her character is compared to the usual Disney princess they normally add into Disney films. I honestly and just obsessed with this film lately!

Booking holidays

I'm wanting to continuously book holidays lately. Especially to Tenerife for next year. Hopefully we'll be going as me and Reiss are dying to go to Siam Park! I also want to book a trip to Germany as I miss it so much! Also dying to see Yella! So Germany and Tenerife are (hopefully) the plans for 2018. Scotland is the last trip as far as I'm aware for this year!

Keeping things tidy

I've always been OCD, but lately I've just been keeping things so clean and tidy! There's hardly any mess anywhere, especially when I have a day at home!

Saving money

I like to treat myself every now and again, but I'm obsessed with finding ways to save money lately, as each year I set a higher goal of how much money I want to save, and it's looking good so far! More money for travelling!

Berries

Seeing as the autumn season is on it's way, the blackberries are starting to ripen - as well as die out now, which is strange for this time of year! Anyway, so I've been getting boxes of them lately and putting them in fruit salads, making elderberry and blackberry cordial, as well as (MY FAVE) apple and blackberry crumble - my fave! I've also been all over Pinterest looking for different recipes like blackberry jam, muffins, pies and crumble bars! I just want to get my baking mojo back on, as I used to cook and bake a lot as a kid. New obsession right here!

What have you been loving or been obsessed with lately?

Fashion | Bringing Out The Aristocrat In Me

Classy Style
Classy Style

I bet your thinking an odd title right? But if you have aristocratic blood in your family tree, then you will completely understand that statement. I love dressing up in this sort of fancy lady-like way, it's always been part of me. So let's go into detail about the outfit...

Classy Style
Classy Style

How gorgeous is this classy outfit though? I honestly adore these shoes and first took them out for a test run on my birthday. You can see my first impressions and reaction in my 20th Birthday Vlog here. They are such a classic shoe for wearing with not only dresses, they look so chic with jeans also, for that dressed up casual look. They're really high with a 5" heel, but I love the pointed toe and cut out/scallop detail on the ankle. The one problem with the design is, it rubs on my ankle unfortunately and I'm still yet ti break these beauties in yet, but other than that, I love them! I also mentioned them in a recent haul in this video here. Check out FSJ Shoes by the way, as I thought they had some really pretty shoes on there and I also love their packaging too which you can see in my 20th Birthday Vlog as well!

Classy Style

As for this dress, when I saw it on the Fashion Mia website, it looked as if it had a better structure with the material, but when it arrived it was quite a poor quality material, and I feel that the style itself was a bit too long for me, being petite in size and height at 5ft3"! But the dress is rather nice on despite all this, it fits nicely around the shoulders, chest and waist, but considering it was a small and the measurements online met my needs, it still seemed to be too big on me, but not to the point where it would hang off me or doesn't fit properly. But regardless of that, I've had so many nice compliments on it! So I've been warming to it lately. I love black lace dresses, but all my other ones I own are better quality. I just wish the sizing was better as well as the material and overall fit of the dress. You know I'm open and honest about everything I review. I'd recommend this dress if you fit into size 8, but not if you are a size 6, as the waist would fit a size 8 better.
Classy Style

As for this beautiful choker, also from Fashion Mia, I absolutely LOVE it! I've worn it so often ever since it arrived! With a casual outfit for that extra glam look, a swimsuit to look even more extra with that tan at a pool party, or even a cute jumpsuit. I've honestly loved wearing it. It's one of the best quality chokers I own to date! I love the thickness, the design, it's not heavy on your neck. It's just the perfect one for me and my style. Even the size of it is perfect, as I really struggle when it comes to chokers, as they always come up too big on my neck, but this one is just the perfect size! Unfortunately though, I was wearing it one day when I started sneezing, and I sneezed so hard that I snapped it! I laughed so much about the fact that I sneezed so hard I broke it but then I was so disappointed that I broke my favourite choker :( hopefully I'll buy a new one at some point, as I miss wearing it so much! Hope you like it and got some inspiration to get your glam on guys and girls!

Thanks for reading!

Lifestyle | What Happened In August

Disneyland Paris

August started off a bit emotionally, as you know, being a girl is hard when trying to stay strong and not go into an emotional breakdown, but anyway, let's stay positive here.

At the start of the month it was 2 of my best friends 21st birthday's, so they had a few nice gifts from me, including a photo album filled with pictures of different memories of us all. Cute right? To celebrate, we were going to head up to Skegness for the day, but our designated driver couldn't take us due to work hours. So instead we decided to go bowling and for a nice meal. We went to a really retro themed, old school bowling alley where I came third unfortunately, but it was good fun, especially in the arcade on (my favourite) the dance machine! We then had a nice meal over at the Beef Eater pub. You can watch that vlog here actually! Me and Stacie finally had a sleepover (big kids at 20/21 I know, but who cares?!) and had a fun day baking chocolate cupcakes and walking down the canal to feed the ducks.

I also spent some quality time with my Dad, learning about different things in the countryside. We went blackberry and elderberry picking and made it into cordial (squash), using a recipe off Pinterest here. I also did a fair bit of baking and cooking too. I made a homemade apple and blackberry crumble, which was AMAZING! (My fave pudding ever!) I also did a delicious honey and garlic chicken slow cooker meal which was SO good! you can find the recipe here. We also found a load of mushrooms by the canal side and learnt which ones you can eat and which ones are fungi, which of course you can't eat. I also didn't know that a fruit called sloane's were used to make gin either! you learn something new everyday!

I also went to Disneyland Paris with 3 of my best friends, which of course I vlogged! You can find that on my YouTube Channel when it's live!

The month was ended with a day trip to Brighton with my friend Chelsey, which of course, I vlogged again! Keep checking out my channel to see when that was published. August had a lot more involved, good and bad, but life goes on and I'm determined to carry on and live life the best I can.

Thank you for reading and that concludes what happened in August! What happened during your month?

Fashion | Jeulia Claddagh Ring

Jeulia Two Tone Claddagh Heart Cut Created White Sapphire Engagement Ring

Claddagh rings are one of my all time favourites, and they're the type of ring I'm always drawn to and look at the most. The fact that they remind me of little tiara rings too. Like that one tiara ring that most girls have these days. The tiara ring that most girls have these days. The tiara ring is the only thing I like out of Pandora's entire collection, they make some stunning pieces, but the tiara stands out the most to me. As like I've said before, I don't like to have things that everyone else has.

Anyway, let's move onto why I love this ring so much and why I always choose claddagh rings. I had a very long browse on the Jeulia Jewelry site and spotted a fair few beautiful rings and other jewellery pieces. If I had not chosen this ring, I would of gone for this beautiful ring here. Can you see the theme here with the crown/tiara type rings? I honestly don't know why, but I just love those the most!

If you've been reading Fashionista Chic for quite some time, you will know that I'm half irish and have a lot of Irish family, so the claddagh ring is something that runs in the family. My Mum has always wore her gold claddagh ring on her middle finger. Okay, so let's educate you slightly if you don't know much about claddagh rings. If you wear the claddagh ring with the heart facing towards you, your taken, if facing away from you, it means your single.

The Claddagh ring is a traditional Irish ring given wich represents love, loyalty, and friendship. The hands represent friendship, the heart represents love, and the crown represents loyalty.

Now, I have 3 claddagh rings now I have this stunning silver and gold 3 ring beauty! I also own a gold plated ring and silver stone ring too. I just love them and they stand out so beautifully!

If your looking for a beautiful ring for a good price for maybe and engagment, gift, wedding etc. Jeulia Jewelry is definitely a site to consider. Plus the ring is packaged beautifully and safely in a ring box, along with a bigger Jeulia Jewelry box, that has 2 drawers that you could actually use to tore all your jewellery in too.

Jeulia Two Tone Claddagh Heart Cut Created White Sapphire Engagement Ring

Do you own a claddagh ring or ever heard/used this jewellery brand before?

P.S. It was pretty speedy delivery considering how the ring is hand crafted - shipped by DHL too. The box was very slightly damaged, but not to the point where it completely mattered as the ring was absolutely fine, as well as the ring box itself.

Beauty | Current Beauty Favourites

Anastasia Beverley Hills Modern Renaissance Palette | L'oreal Miss Baby Roll Mascara
Anastasia Beverley Hills Modern Renaissance Palette

I rarely talk about beauty products on here, so it's about time I did!
The L'oreal Miss Baby Roll Mascara is a firm favourite of mine at the moment, apart from it becoming slightly sticky in the heat, it gives me beautiful full and voluminous lashes that last all day and night! Not to mention it's waterproof formula that literally will not budge!

The Anastasia Beverly Hills Modern Renaissance palette I've actually been using quite a lot since Reiss kindly bought it for me for Christmas last year. My favourite shades are the dark and vibrant pinks! I've found a firm favourite eye look that I always create using this palette. I honestly want to buy so many of the Anastasia products - especially the highlighter palette! It look so dreamy and major unicorn vibes!

Kiko Smart Lipsticks
Carmex Lip Balm

Kiko are my absolute favourites for lipsticks! Okay, they don't last too long, but the colours in their collection are beautiful! I at least own 10 or more of their SMART lipsticks range. The pink and nude shades are my favourites if you can't already tell by how much they've been used.

This is my 3rd Carmex lip balm! I use this lip balm ALL the time! I've used them all till there's no reachable in the tube anymore! They just really help my dry lips and keep them hydrated and smooth!

Topshop Glow Liquid Highlighter

I've only ever used powder highlights, so when I spotted how amazing this Topshop highlighter was, for around £12 and it's a liquid highlighter, so I feel it's easier to work with, it was a no brainer for me to buy it! Especially when the Iconic London liquid highlighters are prices at around £30-£35! Definitely a £12 worth spending as it does not disappoint with it's beautiful natural glow when applied - best blended with a beauty blender!

Clinique Dramatically Different Moisturiser

I am obsessed with this Clinique moisturiser! I first bought it in duty free last February when I was coming back from Iceland, and I've just finished my 50ml pot! Over a year later and it's still leaving my skin beautiful, hydrated, smooth and glowing! Okay, so £30 for a moisturiser is a lot, but when its benefits are so dramatically different (see what I did there?), it's SO worth the money! Especially for how long it lasts. I've recently bought this new bottle, which I got from look fantastic with a free Clinique mask - BONUS!

Glam Glow

Glam Glow are KILLING it right now! I bought this purple pot in duty free on the ferry home from Austria and use it 1-2 times a week depending on the occasion, and OMG! The glow you get from this fabulous product is INSANE! I'm buying the other pots on the ferry when I come back from Disneyland Paris for sure! I've even got them all saved in my wishlist on look fantastic for when I run out - definitely try them! They aren't cheap, but totally worth it for how amazing they make your skin look - #glowinggoddess!

Hawaiian Tropic Silk Hydration Sun Lotion

Throughout these random and certainly hot heatwaves we've been experiencing here in the UK, Hawaiian Tropic has been my saviour from the sun rays. The fact that it smells divine with some kind of coconut/vanilla scent. The face sun lotion helps me tan rather than burn too. This body one really helps prevent my shoulders from burning as they're my weak spot when it comes to the hot sun. Definitely recommend Hawaiian Tropic for those hot days in the UK as well as abroad!

What are your current beauty favourites?

Fashion | Transitional Wear

Street Style
Street Style

I honestly thought I didn't suit denim jackets, but I really liked the long-line denim jackets going about lately. Their such a good piece to have in your wardrobe all year round. For example a long over sized t-shirt with thigh high boots, maybe for a dressed down glam look. Or a casual way with how I've styled it with jeans, t-shirt and a stand out bag and trainers.

Street Style - Original Grain
Street Style
Street Style

Moving onto this bag. I've literally been using it ALL the time! No matter what outfit I wear it with, it just goes so well! The fact that it also looks more expensive than it actually was, as this is a Valentino dupe bag just like this one here. So instead of paying £1,800 for a real one, I got this one for £25 from Moda Bags! I've wore this bag to death lately, ever since I bought it. I don't understand how I haven't even shown this bag on my blog or YouTube yet! I definitely will be doing a bag collection video soon though!

Street Style

Can we just talk about these classic accessories though! I talked about this Original Grain watch in more detail in this post, but I honestly wear this watch more than any other watch I own! It's such a classic piece and goes with everything. I've been loving the Daniel Wellington and Olivia Burton watches going about, but I wanted a watch that no one else had, as I like to be unique. The same goes for the choker I'm wearing from Fashion Mia that is a firm favourite of mine lately and is definitely one I have been wearing a lot lately, as well as my claddagh ring from Jeulia Jewelry too! I've got a whole separate post about this ring too! So do look out for that soon!

I honestly can't wait for the autumn season now with these transitional pieces! I've already bought a pretty dress for autumn which you'll see in a clothing haul on my YouTube channel soon enough!

Lifestyle | What Happened In July

Typical us photo right here of me and my friends. Always doing something stupidly hilarious...

Looks who's pretty much on time for what happened in July! THIS GIRL RIGHT HERE! July started off with a quick nosey around a vintage sale where you can buy a kilo of vintage clothes for £15. Unfortunately, me and Sophie didn't find one thing we liked or found that was our style. So obviously, we ventured to Primark and spent our money in there, and I maybe, kinda bought more rose gold wired baskets...oops...#OBSESSED
After our shopping spree and a quick McDonald's that I regretted eating halfway through, we had a nice swim in our local swimming baths. That same weekend I announced my giveaway winner for the British Style Collective Show.

At the start of July, I did a lot of painting and DIY as you may of read in What Happened In June that I moved out and into my Dad's. So my before and after room video will be VERY different, but either way I'll still be posting it as soon as it's done!

I attended a festival. Godiva Festival to be exact. A free festival held every year at Memorial Park Coventry and we were lucky enough to see Example, and the crowd was INSANE! Absolutely loved that night, as well as us all hitting the town to dance the night away of course with added alcohol.

July was the month of my 20th Birthday, and I had a brilliant day out with my favourite people at Twycross Zoo, my favourite animals were the parakeets! They were so beautiful and you go to get really close to them in this big enclosure that you could walk through. They were literally flying rainbows - now that's my type of bird! Afterwards we headed to this really nice posh pub called Turpins and friend recommended to me, and obviously had a glass of Prosecco as of the special occasion. There's my friend Stacie buying a whole bottle of Rose for herself ahahaa!
The day finished with spaghetti and meatballs at Frankie & Benny's (obviously because Italian food is may faveee, next to Indian food!). Honestly should of ate at Turpins, but maybe next time!

I honestly had a lovely day and was treated to some beautiful gifts! There will be a vlog all on this day! So head to my YouTube channel to see that when it's up!

Another thing that happened in July was my birthday house party...Wow, that was a mess including lots of alcohol, glitter, pink hair spray and silly string hehee!

We all went to the Sealife Centre which I vlogged which you will see on my YouTube soon! We had a fab time there then headed to CEX for me to buy Battlefield 1 for the Xbox One. Then as we were waiting for a few of the boys to return some guy with a spliff came over and started to talk to use about lucozade...OKAY THEN MATE. BYE. You get some really odd people in Birmingham so be careful if your ever there by the way! We also (of course) booked a table for 8 of us at the Cosy Club in Birmingham which I'd never been to before and it's not the best compared to the one in Coventry except the interior is a lot fancier. We all had a brilliant day and our next day out for all 9 of us is going to be Rush Trampoline Park again but some of our friends haven't been before so that should be fun again! I vlogged my first trip so you can find that on my YouTube too!

That concludes what happened in this month! What have you enjoyed during July?

Favourite Youtubers

I'm loving these types of posts lately! I did a favourite bloggers on here if you want to read that. I'm hating this silly algorithm thing that's going on with YouTube & Instagram. Does the industry not want us smaller people (literally) to grow or something? Anyway, I'm creating this post to shout out some big and small YouTubers I've been watching and liking lately.

Lydia E Millen - Absolute inspiration to women of all ages! She has some seriously beautiful clothes, amazing designer style, she's so down to earth, open and honest in all her videos and honestly is a pleasure to watch and follow her on social media platforms. Definitely give her a sub and watch some of her videos if you love daily vlogs, travel, designer wear and a good laugh every once in a while!

Jaide Poppy - I've had the pleasure of meeting this fab woman and she is one of my favourite bloggers/youtubers to follow. She has a certain diet she has to stick to due to medical reasons and I completely respect that! But she makes and creates some amazing vegan/gluten free recipes as well as being that lovely supportive person you feel you've been friends with for years. Just love this girl!

Charlotte Hole - You must be sick of how much I mention Charlotte, she is just so creative, lovely, down to earth and just an overall amazing inspirational human being! She's travelled to so many different places and probably has loads of stamps in her passport. Charlotte is just so inspiring from her style, creativity, personality, thoughts and right down to the way she edits her videos. She's just one person that I always feel inspired by in this massive community.

Beth Carney - Honestly the sweetest girl with such a cut voice! I love how she does her make up the most and how honest she is about things, especially for reviews on products. Beth is also such a supportive person within the blogosphere!

InTheFrow - Victoria has been one that I've followed for at least 3 years now, ever since she had purple hair with 90k subscribers! I've loved watching her transition through life as a successful young woman. She's such an inspiration to all ages and is the sweetest person to watch, especially with her recent weekly vlogs. I love watching her and her boyfriend Alex's adventures so much! Find his channel here.

Charlie Friend - My gosh this girl is strong! Absolutely love what she's accomplished. Firstly she ran the London marathon, got a nose and boob job at the same time and looks amazing! She honestly makes me laugh so much in her videos too. I've met her at an event before, that's how I found her channel, and honestly, just check out her channel, she's so funny, honest and just English if that makes sense? As in her humour!

That's it for this post! Hope you enjoyed reading and hopefully have found a new youtuber you would like to watch. What's your most inspirational youtuber?
